I can only handle thinking about starting a blog (to unleash some of my personal thoughts and opinions) long enough without finally buckling down and doing so. What took me so long??? Well, it started with Facebook, which I thoroughly enjoyed in the beginning. I connected with family and friends that I wouldn't have otherwise been in contact with, and I readily typed in my daily updates and comments. Until it seemed everyone I knew was my friend on the social network and I just couldn't imagine personal comments about my life reaching out to all these people from different avenues of my life. I suddenly shut down and didn't want to share any of the amazing adventures I've been having. But I do want to share! I really, really do! I just don't want to share with most people I know and some who know me very well. Not that I'm hiding anything, but the idea of NOT knowing the people reading my personal thoughts gives me a bigger freedom to express myself more freely and completely.
